Wade and Marie were married in December of last year! How crazy to have such little snow on the ground in Duluth at that time of year. Marie’s parents have a large yard with a river flowing through it and we did all of their portraits and family photos there. <3
Wade and I grew up in the same town, and when I had met Marie at another wedding earlier in 2023, she mentioned she’d probably end up in the UP someday. While we were taking their photos, I asked where they planned to live. Marie says “Here!”, and Wade says “FOR SIX MONTHS!” in a tone that suggested the stay was temporary. Did I ever get the giggles. This fellow Yooper was NOT about to give up his status so easily! :)
