This was such a special wedding to be a part of! Erika and I actually met in Europe when we were there for Christmas in 2017. She’s one of those friends that just clicked and we can talk for hours and hours. Panu is from Finland, so that really was the primary reason she was there. :)
Erika wanted to keep the details simple and more time was spent focusing on friends and family. I don’t know if I’ve ever felt so grateful to be at a wedding before. I left with a warm heart and great memories.
Erika and Panu received many cards addressed to “Mr and Mrs Petteri,” which we thought was hilarious. :)
Erika’s friend Brianna and a fantastic maid of honor. She thought of so many things that wouldn’t have even crossed my mind!
I love this next one. A bride who just loved how everything looked!
Wearing a sheet to protect the dress from getting dirty.
We went through a hail storm on our way to the church. It was also the end of the motorcycle rally in Sturgis, so there was bikes everywhere!
I messed with this next one in Photoshop to come up with something creative. I loved the picture but was kicking myself for the building in the background, so I decided to try something and see what happened. Still not sure if I love it but it was fun to make!
Aaron is the baby of Erika’s family. Her brothers were so cute with all the company and I could tell that it was special to them to help take care of Panu’s family from Finalnd.
Erika’s super cute niece and nephews.
And here’s me in my sweaty glories. When I’m in my element, I pay no attention to how I feel. I barely register the cold or the heat, but I’ll be dripping when I’m done. I just figure who cares cause I’m not the one who’s supposed to look pretty!
Erika and Panu will be in South Dakota until December and then moving to Finland. Guess that means I’ll have to head over there to visit them! :)
